Can a chicken know a chicks not here even after warming the egg for weeks?

So my mom put eggs from another type of breed with a chicken that was broody. These lats two days the eggs have been hatching 3 eggs hatched which are her eggs that she laid and two others egg hatched that were from the other type ochicken breed . The chicken started killing the the chcks that werent hers. So whats happening?
