I am a very happy 26 soon to be 27yr old mummy of 4, I have an 8yr old son Morgan, a 4yr old daughter Macey, a 3yr old son Regan & an 8month old dughter Ruby. I loved finding out I was pregnant with all of them, I loved being pregnant, I loved my hospital appointments, I loved the buzz waiting for them to arrive, I love every minute being a mum. I thought Ruby would be my last baby, a nice even number, 2 of each in perfect order.... But my brain is telling me otherwise & its really frustrating! I no that I shouldn't have anymore babies for reason's such as house & car space (although I do have a 7 seater!) & obviously because of money. Not only that but. I want to really enjoy my 4 babies. So why do I keep feeling so broody?? I do want another, but I am fighting it. Does anyone have any first experence of moon blindness (Equine Recurrent Uveitis)?

My horse has had eye swellings in the past which were put down to flies irritating the eye so he wore a fly mask. Now his eyes have become swollen even with the the fly mask on suggesting it is no longer the flies that are doing it. The vet has stitched his eye lashes out the way (as when the eye swells they invert and cause more irritation and prevent the eye from recovering). I think sometimes boredom makes you feel broody at 18. Babies are great when the time is right. I suggest getting out and having some fun first. Go to theme parks, travel a bit, movie nights enjoy the alone time you have with your boyfriend right now. I love my daughter but I can't believe how much it has changed the relationship I have with my husband. I am so glad I had a few years to have my own apartment, my career, to go to the gym when I wanted to, to eat pizza, and beer when I felt like it. Just living for myself. Well, what I do (Cause I have pretty bad anxiety issues) is closing my eyes and picturing the best thing possible. For example, if your craaaving icecream, close your eyes and picture yourself eating icecream. If you feel bad about using vaseline because i dnt kno the long term effects, but you can use any kind of lotion or even shampoo, jus close ur eyes and wet a cloth n put a dab or lotion or shampoo n scrubb them lightly then rinse ur eye off and whipe it dry and open. If u decide to use shampoo, u can buy baby shampoo, it wont burn ur eyes if it accidently gets in it.

Make sure you give them a good layer pellet as well as corn. And the will eat most anything. They love most scraps . Mine always liked there breads soaked in water. Braces in 40s with receding gum, badly crooked teeth and lots of filling.?

Reading past posts, i understand there is no max age for wearing braces, however i have receding gum issue (dentists told me) and quite bad crooked teeth. Also most of my mollars have filling. In short, mines are in pretty bad shape and surely will require lots of work, time and cause PAIN. Hence, I wonder if it's worth it as i'm 40yo. I'm sixteen, and am always getting punished for my attitude. Snide little comments under my breath & stuff, you know how it is. I strive for self control & I never lash out or curse, but comments like that sometime slip out, but its always very settle. There's a good possibility the eggs arnt duds, because if she wasn't sitting on them that long before they didn't get to form and eggs will keep a few days and still be able to have chickens hatch them. I think I have had a chicken be like this already this year, and she's young so its a good possibility, but I took the eggs from her cause they were getting way to much and crowded in the nesting box.

Gap along my gums after root canal?

I suggest using neutrogena products. This should help make your skin clear, but buy some cover up, because at this age 100% clear skin pretty much doesnt exist. Freckles, you cannot remove, but foundation will make them slightly less noticable. If you want your hair back to its true natural color, you just have to wait for it to grow out, then cut off the part at the bottom with the unnatural color. Weight loss just requires eating well, not over-eating, and exercise. But don't over-do it and make yourself sick. I have a son and a daughter and I find it amazing how many people tell me that I am "done" since I have one of each. I don't really get why they think it is any of their business. I find that it's always women that seem to think they can tell you how many kids to have, I've never had a man say anything like that. My mother-in-law is the most severe, anytime anyone mentions the possibility of us having another child she goes off saying things like "OH NO THEY WON'T! Why does one of my ducklings keep twitching?

We put a duck egg under one of our broody hens. Yesterday I found it sort of crushed/attacked in the box but the duckling inside was still alive! I bought it in and we put it in a box on the back of our Aga. It was fine and then this morning it was out of the shell but still attached by a few small stringy bits to the membrane by like a lump in its tummy. What is this? It got loose but now it's twitching lots, especially its legs. Will it be ok? Does anyone know why or what this is? We've hatched chicks for a few years but never experienced this.

I am a very happy 26 soon to be 27yr old mummy of 4, I have an 8yr old son Morgan, a 4yr old daughter Macey, a 3yr old son Regan & an 8month old dughter Ruby. That sounds fine...just make sure that you blend in everything nicely, and that your face is not a complete different color than the rest of your body! (had a friend do that once, not pretty!) nest box is fine....buy some chick feed pellets n some bran crushed...place a handful on some newspaper inside the nestbox if enuf room ...check on how much they eat ...they will make a bit of a mess..after a day or two put the feed in a shallow tray ....they will work it out...plenty fresh water as well...in a shallow tray....close the door at sunset after mother hen has taken them inside....open early next morning with fresh water n more feed....later give them normal chicken pellets when bigger...then much later layers pellets.....always plenty fresh water.....

I need help remembering the name of a movie?

There are people who are trying to track him down, for study or something. and there's a "human" woman (I think she may have started oout working with the people trying to catch the guy, but i'm not sure about that part) who tries to help him get away from the people, and she turns out to be a robot as well, created by the same guy who created the other dude. and she jumps in front of the robot guy, when he's about to be blasted with some kind of energy disruptor or something, and it hurts her, because she is a robot as well, and the rest is a little fuzzy, (it was a long time ago). The main guy has short, light hair, and a receding hairline and looks somewhat like Robert Duncan McNiell (Tom Paris on Star Trek Voyager). I hope someone recognizes this description, it's driving me nuts that I can't figure out what this movie is.

My duck hen got off her nest for about 24 hours near the start of her brooding. Are the eggs still viable?

She started sitting on March 2. On the 5th, she got off the nest for close to a day, then went back to sitting. None have hatched yet. We have a drake that I have seen mating with her and previously hatched out one of her eggs under a broody chicken, so I don't thing fertilization is the problem. Would the embryos die during the day she left the nest? She covered them with hay and feathers when she left them.

You both have a loooong life ahead of you, and what about school and college? Jobs? Payments, homes? There is SOOOO much you have to consider. And at your age especially. If i were you, i want a baby too, but i would definitely wait! At least until you know you have a stable, long term, good paying job and house, and most importantly, you know that he is going to stick around and be there for you for the rest of the baby's life.

there could be several causes to this, so only a dentist can evaluate you and tell you why it is happening. Some common causes are over zealous brushing. You may be brushing too hard, or using a toothbrush that is too hard and it is abrading your gums. Only use a soft bristle toothbrush and when you brush do not use a scrubbing motion. Place your toothbrush at a 45 degree angle (slightly angled toward your gums, so that the bristles will go slightly underneath your gums) when you brush, use a vibrating motion instead of scrubbing. Its much easier for me to show this than to try to describe it, so bear with me. Only brush a few teeth at a time. Plaque is soft and is easily removed, you do not need to scrub at it very hard for it to come off. The bad thing is that your gums will not "grow back". Once they are gone, they are gone, but you can prevent further loss by brushing lighter with a soft bristled toothbrush. Hope this helps.

Firstly, see your doctor about your depression. You have been depressed for a long time, and it's impossible to sort things out in your life while everything seems so bleak. If you dont already, then socialise a bit with other young mums in your situation by going to Mother and Toddler groups nearby. If one doesn't suit you, try another, I didn't like the first one I tried when the health visitor suggested it, but I found another that did suit me, and I enjoyed the company (plus it really tired my son out, so I got to rest afterwards). See if you can make friends with another mum, and swap babysitting with her, so each of you gets a morning, afternoon or evening totally to themselves every week. Even a small amount of time to think only about yourself rather than the baby can be very refreshing and help clear your mind. If you feel desperate to save your relationship, then go to couples counselling. If he wont go then go by yourself, it will still help. With things getting as bad as physical violence I'd just leave, if it was me, but it's up to you. Improve your life in whatever ways you can, and try to get into couples counselling, and see if maybe with the help of a professional you can sort out some way of being together that's better than this.

Eyes itch after applying drops?

Recently got pink eye. Went to GP and got eye drops (chloramphenicol). I applyed drops to both eyes and they tend to itch. Is this normal? I didn't really apply it properly because some of it got on my lashes. As soon as I applied it, I just closed them, I mean like as soon as it touched my eye. It itches, so is this normal or have I done something wrong?

My boyfriends mom came around my child on drugs and I don't want her around my daughter.?

My boyfriend's mother has always had a problem with prescription pills, and has once or twice smoked crack and meth. The other day she gets out of jail for not paying child support, because once again her drugs came first, before her own kids; she comes over uninvited, speeding horribly off something and comes to be around my child. My boyfriend ofcourse defended her and we comprimised on supervised visitations with her. That was done. The next day she texted and asked if my daughter took a certain kind of formula, and simply answered which kind she took then all of a sudden she lashes at me and thinks im lying to her because im "pissed off for no reason" It then turns into this hour long harrassment against me over text, calling me names and verbaly abussing me. He then threatens her with a restraining order and she comes back with "idgaf, i dont see her anyways" How do I convince my boyfriend that my daughter doesnt need a grandmother like her?

Extremely long story. I was at a party and I smoked weed and started hallucinating and losing it and wrecking the party. One of my good mates (guy who made the party) brought me up the stairs took me into a bedroom (looked after me for a while). There my best friend (of 5 yrs) apparently "stayed" in the room looking after me. Next morning, my $50 note was gone. I asked my best friend if he used it to buy Maccas for everyone, cause I remember people were eating Maccas. He said NO and started accusing my mate (the party starter) for taking the money and witnessed him having a $50 in his wallet and buying ciggies with it. I asked him if he drove my car to drop people off (he is on his L's and was drinking), he said NO. Found out my fuel was half gone and crums around the car. Next day one of my other mates admitted to using my car to drop people off and apologized sincerley. However my best friend still denied driving my car. Couple days later, we were chilling in my friends car (guy who made the party) and I asked him if he knew who stole my money. He said he knew and that it was a friend that stole my money and that he would never tell me because it will make things worse. My best friend who happened to be in the car, started to buckle and choke and started accusing my mate why he was getting the blame and that he was a dog c*nt for accusing him etc (in short it looked like he knew he did it and couldn't handle the pressure so he lashed out). I also found out from my mate (and several others) that my best friend took my car out for 3 Maccas runs, had a joy ride (with alcohol in his system) and LET a drunk 14 yr old with no license drive it (I was also told that the 14 yr old nearly crashed my car 4 times). My mate (party starter) also said things which were true - my best friend didnt bring money to the party, he witnessed my bestie holding a lot of cash (change from the $50 possibly?) and that he pretty much shouted everyone Maccas (my best friend is on the dole, lives on housing commission and suffers financially, he never shouts anything). I confronted my best friend after this argument calmly and with no swearing or voice raising, he responded by swearing and telling me off and how he looked after me all night and would never do such thing and that the money used for Maccas was from people chipping in. I also asked other party goers that night and one said that my best friend would do no such thing and that he chipped in small change for Maccas. However I talked with my mate (the party starter) and he was 100% certain he took the money and that 'looking after you all night' doesn't mean sh*t. What do I do in this situation? Obviously our trio is broken up. I do not like to take sides either. My best friend (or ex bestie) is very hostile and refuses to talk. Please help me resolve this.

Who knows about domestic ducks hatching their own eggs?

I have a pair of ducks that are about 1 year old, I think). My female Welsh Harlequin built a nest and now has 7 eggs in it. She seems to sit on it at night but will get off when I get home from work when she wants to be fed. She doesn't usually go right back on the nest. I'm not sure if she's staying on the nest all day long or not. I know that they won't actually start incubating the eggs until they are done laying, but if she's sitting on it at night, but not all day, will the eggs start to develop and then not hatch? I guess I'm just not sure how the whole process works as I've never had a duck build a nest and be "broody." My ducks are just pets, but it would be fun to hatch some ducklings.

Avoid scrubbrushing at all costs (horizontal brushing-back and forth), if you can get an electric toothbrush-oral b makes a great line and there is also the sonicare. Try to angle your brush at 45 degrees to the gumlines and brush down from the top, up from the bottom. This is called modified bass technique-you can look it up online. If you notice your toothbrush bristle flaring you are brushing too hard and should replace your brush. Use a sensitivity toothpaste- brush with it and smear a bit on the teeth after using a clean finger-just let it sit. Also, if you are grinding this can also cause recession, definately get a nightguard made-it is a plastic guard you can wear at night to protect your teeth, I would suggest getting it from a dentist as it is custom fitted.

Third Baby Dilemma - stick with 2 or twist to 3?

We have 2 lovely children; Katharine who is nearly 4 and Noah who is almost 2. Both my husband and I feel that our family is not quite complete and there's someone else waiting to join us, so to speak. I'm incredibly broody and in my heart I would like to conceive in the next 6 weeks for a spring 2012 baby, but my head is unsure about the practicalities. I think I could handle three - just about! My husband has 2 boys from previous relationships aged 10 and 5. The 5 year old lives with us as my husband has full custody of him. How Do I Handle 11-Month Old Chihuahua Aggression?

I have been very consistent in training my chihuahua, who is now currently 11 months old and 9 lbs. He has been with me since 12-weeks and was neutered as a young puppy as he had started to exhibit certain behaviours (humping objects, etc) that led it to be advised. He is crate trained, potty trained, social and friendly in the dog park, but has exhibited aggressive behaviours from time to time. He is not allowed on the furniture, is made to wait for humans to enter doors first, and must sit or do other tricks to be rewarded or served his food. However, his aggression has been most seen around food, guarding his crate, guarding me, or when people pet him. Before, he would always want attention from others, but now he will be comfortable receiving a pet but then suddenly turns and snaps, warding off whoever is petting him. My boyfriend, who lives with us, is the most frequent victim. This past weekend, after getting picked up from the train station, I was sitting with my mother and the dog in the back seat of the car. She was petting and he suddenly tensed up and tried to bite her. Prior, he had always been very calm and well behaved in the car. On another occasion, while sitting on my boyfriend's lap in the car, my boyfriend was holding him and moved his hands slightly and the dog began to growl. I'd don't know if this is fear based or territorial. But the behaviour is very fickle and changes quickly. He will be accepting one minute, then suddenly tense and upset. He has been examined recently with a good bill of health. This behaviour is never exhibited towards me. After he lashes out, he instantly gets embarrassed, will lower his head in submission, and know that he has done something wrong. But he will still possibly lash out if anyone is in his space. I'm worried as this behaviour is new, as in the past few weeks, and I want to nip it in the bud. In regards to his aggression in the crate, I've had my boyfriend casually drop treats into the crate when the dog is resting inside, and speaking kindly to him. This is slowly improving and he is more accepting of people's presence near his crate. However, the other moments when he snaps are concerning me. If anyone has any advice-- please let me know. I have also been seeing a behaviorist to assist, but wanted to gather additional feedback.

There are spaces between my lower teeth where air can go through, Anyone have advice?

I noticed about a week and a half ago that my gums were noticeably receding and starting to bleed in the gaps between my teeth and the gum behind my bottom front teeth felt like there were gaps in the gum right below the teeth. Ok so I just got a pair of clippers and gave myself a number 1 buzz cut, which is great looking, except I noticed that in pics of a number 1 cut, the hairline has a straight, round look, and I noticed my hairline is kind of receding. Call a pro. They can send a camera down to see what's going on down there. Don't cut the pipe. That will probably only bring you more problems without solving the original one. I'm with some of the other posters here. In a home that age, you probably have clay and/or cast iron pipes that have either settled so they don't drain like they should, or they are just plain past their useful life. I've had 2 homes that vintage and both suffered from drainage problems. One had clay pipes that had settled and broken, and with the other we never did figure out what was wrong(the plumbers suspected a fault in the city's line but the city didn't agree) and ended up installing a new line to the street and a backflow preventer.

I'm 34 right now, and I have 2 newborns in the past year since I was 33. I'm glad I waited this long; to be honest, I wished I waited longer but I was scared that I was getting too old when in fact both babies are as immaculate as can be so I made probably the biggest mistake of my life. I agree. Chickens full of progesterone will sit and sit and sit.. sometimes i scatter food close enough for the hens to peck at it while they're sitting. But if it's already been a week past the 21, they are done. You can hold an egg up to a light to make sure, but the only way to make her stop sitting is to toss the eggs.

If you have the money, I suggest that you take her to a veterinarian. Otherwise, make sure she has plenty of nutrition. Her pale comb could be a sign of calcium deficiency. Give her eggshells to eat, and see if that helps. She is probably grieving over what happened to the chicks, so give her some time. If she isn't getting any better within one week, take her to a veterinarian.

Receded gumline at one back tooth from overbrushing. Any hope for regeneration?

I've just been to my dentist yesterday. He said I got a "10 out of 10" because I have great teeth and gums, no cavities, floss regularly, etc. I apparently overbrushed at one point and wore the gum away at one back tooth. Now it's sensitive to cold; I now have a special toothpaste for it. I'm not satisfied with that, though, so if I massage my gums, is it possible that this will grow back at all? It seems like the official answer is "no." Has anyone here had this problem or known someone who has? Any solutions that don't involve surgery?

My chickens are not laying any eggs?

so i have 7 chickens 1 is 3 years old and 2 of them i don't expect any eggs from and the others are all young. they all were laying eggs until 2 of my chickens went broody and hatched 2 chicks and now none of them lay... i provide them with scratch grain and layer pellets of good quality. they have a pen of 8.62 x 6.85 metres of dirt and we are getting some strong grass put down soon for them. their night coop isn't that great but we are also getting a new one of 1.5 x 1.5 x1.9 metres. what am i doing wrong? they were all laying before.. any advice?

My duck has been laying eggs, but is not sitting on them...How long will they last?

I have a wild mallard duck, a mallard drake and a call duck who I suspect is of dodgy parentage....she was sold to me as a brown call duck, but I suspect has a mallard dad, as she prefers to hang out with the wild ducks instead of the domestic ducks. I also have 6 hens and 2 aylesburys, and a white call duck. I have removed the eggs from the hens and domestic ducks but when blue eggs appeared, I left them as I assumed they came from my wild ducks, and were probably fertilised, and am eagerly awaiting ducklings. However the clutch has now got to 16 and nobody seems keen to sit on them. The night before last, the wild duck disappeared, tonight the drake did too. I have split the eggs into 3 piles, hoping maybe a hen will get broody and incubate them, as even if my wild duck returns, I dont think she can cope with 16. Has anyone any advise as to what to do next, and how long will these eggs have potential ducklings in them? Should I remove them and buy a heat lamp or an incubator for them?

Okay basically im 19, 20 in december. I'm getting married in september and i love my girlfriend very much by since i was 15 ive wanted a baby. when i was 15 i misscarried and again when i was 18 i misscarried. I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS (Pollycystic Ovary Syndrome) which can half your chances of have a baby and can make it very difficult to get pregnant. The doctors have mentioned in some cases it may take upto 6 years to fall pregnant so i want to start trying as soon as i've had the all clear from the doctors but my girlfriend thinks we should wait until we have a house of our own as we are living with my girlfriends mother. You need to take her to food and water a couple of times a day .She may well be getting up for a drink etc on her own but lifting her off the eggs will not harm them as the hen will go back .un like an incubator a live hen can adjust the temperature to allow for her absence

My cat eats and drinks but gags?

My cat is eating and drinking, so I don't think there's anything that serious going on. However, he occasionally gags throughout the day. I think it's just a hairball, but he's currently hiding under a corner table. He's been walking slower and is keeping his tail tightly wrapped around him. I do have a new cat, who's a kitten, and he's been adding a lot of stress to the other 2 cats that I have. The other 2 cats are both around 13 years old. Also, when he's sitting down and some one sits next to him, he sometimes randomly lashes out at them. He's still semi active in the sense of that he will move around and jump up, but the entire thing seems kind of forced. All the time, he keeps his tail tightly around him, though. He kinda seems a bit depressed, but I'm not sure if he actually is or if I'm just putting feelings on for him. Any idea what this could be? If this goes on, my family and I are definitely taking him to the vet, but I just wanted to know if it was anything of immediate urgency that anyone knew of? Thanks!!

Leave everything alone - the lashes will start to grow back. And whatever makeup you are using, either you may be sensitive to it or using too much. You don't mention whether you use an eyelash curler but if you do, throw it away and never use one again - they pull lashes out.

Two broody hens together, and broken eggs?

We have two broody hens in a ratproof coop. They take turns in sitting on the eggs that they laid between them as they were all gathered together by one of them. Two have hatched successfully and the chicks are thriving. However I have found two eggs outside their nest, one about three feet away and both were broken with a dead chick inside. One was almost fully formed and the other was still red and tiny. Should I take one broody out and just leave one in? Will it make any difference to the chicks doing this? Why are these eggs so far from the nest and how did they get there? Please can somebody help as I don't want to lose any more chicks.
